Children from low-income families unfortunately often lack the opportunity to acquire additional skills that are becoming essential today. Computer literacy is not a luxury, but a tool for learning, communicating, and building a career.
The KDL Foundation is raising funds for computer courses for these children.
We want to give them access to classes where they will learn:
— confidently work with word processors and spreadsheets;
— use the internet for information searches and learning;
— the basics of digital security;
— basic software skills that will be useful in school and in life.
These courses will help children feel more confident among their peers, keep up with their schoolwork, and ultimately have a better chance of finding a decent job.
