Andrey (Akhmad) is one of twins. Diagnosis: atypical autism with intellectual disability. Andrey is 10 years old. He is a kind and affectionate boy who learns every day how to live in our big world. He is currently a student at a specialized school, but for new steps in his development, he really needs our support.
Speech is still difficult for him; he speaks in short phrases and sometimes uses only gestures. Everyday skills: self-care is only partially mastered, and he reacts strongly to loud sounds—he gets scared and tries to run away. He almost never interacts with peers. Right now, Andrey needs a rehabilitation course that will help correct his behavior, reduce anxiety, and give a powerful boost to his speech development.
