Even before Aliya's birth, her parents were informed that she had been diagnosed with a severe congenital heart defect.
Aliya underwent her first cardiac surgery on the 17th day of her life. Over the course of six years, the girl underwent several stages of treatment and ongoing medical monitoring.
Today, Aliya is growing, learning Arabic, memorizing short suras, and enjoys putting puzzles together. However, as the child grows, so does the strain on her heart, requiring further treatment.
Aliya was prepared for surgery three times in Russia, but each time it was canceled due to the high risk of cardiac arrest. Following consultations, Russian specialists recommended that the parents consider treatment at a clinic abroad.
An Italian cardiology center has confirmed its readiness to accept Aliya for examination and subsequent surgical treatment.
The family is currently raising funds for the trip and treatment. Any donation, however small, brings Aliya closer to the medical care she needs.
