Valentin is 16 years old. He is an orphan, lives in an orphanage, and every day is a small victory for him. The young man has a severe diagnosis, accompanied by severe spasticity in his arms and legs. Valentin cannot speak or move independently. At the same time, he is intellectually preserved, emotionally open, loves to communicate and charges others with amazing positivity. In the orphanage, he is sincerely loved for his fortitude and love of life.
Valentin has grown out of his former wheelchair. Without a modern, well-chosen means of rehabilitation, he risks losing even the limited independence that he has, as well as facing severe secondary complications.
