Khalid has autism spectrum disorder. Spoken language is just empty noise to him. He hears, but does not grasp the meaning. This leads to fear, despair, and tantrums. This is not a whim. It is the only form of communication available to him.
Khalid needs comprehensive rehabilitation:
ABA therapy — to learn to ask instead of scream;
sensory integration — so that his brain can begin to process external signals correctly;
adaptive physical education — for body control and coordination;
sessions with a special education teacher — to initiate understanding and speech.
The rehabilitation is designed for 3 courses. Each course is a full stage of intensive sessions in all areas. Only systematic work produces lasting results.
