Abdusalam has lived with a rare genetic disease, Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, since birth.

The disease gradually progresses: his muscles weaken, and his movement becomes increasingly limited.

Today, he can no longer walk independently; he sits only with support and is almost entirely dependent on the help of his family.

Despite the incurability of the disease, regular rehabilitation helps maintain muscle strength, slow the progression of complications, and maintain self-care skills for as long as possible.

Abdusalam has undergone treatment at various rehabilitation centers, but due to the severity of his condition, fewer and fewer facilities are willing to accept him.

After contacting several specialized centers, he received a positive response only from the Three Sisters Rehabilitation Center.

Now he needs another course of rehabilitation, as well as assistance with travel expenses.
