Magomed-Amin has progressive Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The disease is taking away his strength, his muscles are weakening day by day, and his bones have become fragile. He can no longer move around on his own—neither at home nor outside. His world has shrunk to the size of his room, even though, like anyone else, he wants to be a part of life, not just an observer from the sidelines.
He urgently needs a power wheelchair. With it, he will be able to go for walks, attend rehabilitation, be close to his family and friends, and feel independent. This is not just a means of transportation—it is a chance to breathe freely, to see the world beyond his window, to live rather than merely exist.
