Okeana has a heart defect and requires surgery!

Little Okeana from Kyrgyzstan was born in May 2026. After being discharged from the maternity hospital, a check-up with the local pediatrician revealed that she had a congenital heart defect. She spent three days in the hospital, where doctors informed the family that urgent surgery was required. However, the family did not have the necessary funds. Okeana is currently at home, taking prescribed medication and waiting for the surgery.

Her mother is on maternity leave caring for the baby, while her father works as a store administrator. Her parents and relatives have already raised some money, but the amount is insufficient. The family is striving to raise the remaining funds so the surgery can be performed as soon as possible.

Okeana has been diagnosed with cor triatriatum, a secundum atrial septal defect, and dilation and hypertrophy of the right heart chambers. Membranes have been detected on a heart valve that must be removed urgently. The baby has developed a characteristic cough and is struggling to gain weight. Okeana is still very young and desperately needs our help. Let’s work together to help her get the necessary surgery in time!
