A cat named Plyushka lives at the "Devoted Heart" shelter. She came to us as a tiny kitten — and even then, it was clear that life on the streets had left its mark. One of her eyes could not be saved, and Plyushka grew up learning to live with one side.
Years passed. Plyushka got used to the shelter, learned to trust people, and even started to purr. But recently, she developed a new problem — her teeth began to hurt. She has difficulty eating, has become less active, and it's clear that she is in pain.
The vets recommended removing the diseased teeth, and the surgery has already been performed. Plyushka is now recovering, but the bill has not yet been settled.
