The NGO 'He Needs You' is conducting a training course for adoptive and biological parents of children with disabilities, as well as for prospective adoptive parents. Participants watch lectures, attend webinars, and gain knowledge that helps them better understand their child and support their development.
However, sometimes training alone is not enough. Questions arise that require individual discussion with a specialist.
We are currently raising funds for consultations with a psychologist for 25 families with children with disabilities.
For prospective adoptive parents, these consultations will help assess their resources and readiness to welcome a child with disabilities, as well as discuss educational pathways and rehabilitation options available in their locality.
