Aylin is 4 years old. Until she was one and a half, she developed like other children: she started holding her head up, crawling, and walking on time, and explored the world with curiosity. But after 18 months, there was a sharp regression in her development. The girl stopped responding to her name and making eye contact, and began to display stereotypical movements. She lost her understanding of spoken language, and her nights became filled with frequent awakenings from intense crying.
Doctors diagnosed Aylin with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD). Since that day, her parents have not stopped fighting for their daughter's health.
