When a child from an orphanage ends up in the hospital, they are left there alone. In the most frightening moment, there is no one nearby who could give them a hug, comfort them after a procedure, or simply be there. Severely ill teenagers from residential institutions, due to physical limitations, are like infants—they cannot even take a step or take care of themselves in the most basic ways.
The Budu ryadom project was created to change this. We provide such children with constant care and attention in hospitals. Our professional nannies are on duty around the clock in hospitals in three cities in the region, taking the place of a close adult for the child. We also help those children whose parents exist only on paper but have in fact completely disappeared from their lives.
Our goal is simple: in a hospital ward, not a single child should be left alone with their fear and illness.
To pay our nannies, the project needs your support. Every donation means hours of care and warmth for a child who has no one else to rely on. Let’s help together!
