Melisa has brain cancer and needs rehabilitation!

Melisa is a cheerful eleven-year-old girl who loves animals, pretending to be a doctor, and dreams of becoming an oncologist. Melisa has been battling a brain tumor since she was two months old. She underwent treatment and chemotherapy for three years. After a relapse, she underwent proton beam therapy, which resulted in brain tissue necrosis. In 2025, Melisa suffered a massive stroke and has been undergoing rehabilitation for 10 months. She was also diagnosed with a rare cerebrovascular disease called Moya-Moya.

Thanks to charitable foundations, she was able to pay for previous rehabilitation courses. Now, Melisa needs further rehabilitation, including sessions with a neurologist, exercise therapy specialist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, and specialists in motor and speech rehabilitation. The family is unable to cover the expenses on their own: Melisa's younger sister has autism.
