The Ty emu nuzhen Fond brings orphaned children from the regions to Moskva, where they receive necessary surgical treatment and medical care. However, after discharge, there is often a long break before the next rehabilitation course.
During this period, it is especially important to prevent a decrease in physical activity. Prolonged sitting can lead to loss of muscle tone and negate the results achieved through surgery and treatment.
To ensure that children can continue their recovery without interruption, the Fond’s developmental center is equipped with a special space. Here, regular adaptive physical culture (AFK) classes are held, and nannies are trained in proper care and working with children after surgery.
AFK is not ordinary physical education. It helps maintain the results achieved, prevent the development of contractures, support muscles, and prepare the child for the next stage of rehabilitation.
