Seva needs prosthetic arms

Five-year-old Seva lost his fingers as a result of a household accident. To live a full and active life, the child needs several prostheses with different functionalities. The family has received certificates, but they do not cover the full cost.

Seva goes to judo and swimming, plays yard football with the boys, loves his old bike, and dreams of conquering all the climbing frames and monkey bars. He is also his mom's little helper: he can quietly weed the garden with a hoe, pick raspberries, and do all this with one hand.

The boy needs prostheses for different situations in life. A simple cosmetic one, made of soft material, imitates a real hand—this is for the visual effect, so he doesn't feel self-conscious. A body-powered prosthesis is needed for gripping: you bend your wrist—the fingers bend. With such a prosthesis, you can hold something in your hand—a toy, a cup, or steady a water bottle while you open the cap with the other hand. And also a functional, heavy-duty prosthesis: with a 'bars' attachment, it will help Seva hang on the monkey bars and move along a horizontal ladder, and with a 'bike' attachment, it will allow him to better control his beloved bike.

His mother is raising him alone and cannot afford to get her son several prostheses at once. Let's help Seva!
