Collection for sedatives for the shelter's wards

Friends, our shelters are home to animals with various illnesses and injuries. Many of them are afraid of people and veterinary procedures, especially if they have previously experienced pain, abuse, or have lived on the streets for a long time. That’s why sedatives are an important part of helping such animals.

A five-month-old cat named Elina was abandoned in an apartment building entrance. The little one was sitting in a corner, frightened and confused, and when she arrived at our shelter, she was weak and very timid. Now Elina has to undergo a series of examinations due to coordination issues: a neurologist appointment, tests, ultrasound, and MRI. For such a small cat who has experienced severe stress, trips to the clinic and medical procedures become an additional ordeal.

There are many such cases in the shelter. Examinations, check-ups, bandaging, and other procedures must be carried out as gently and safely as possible. That’s why we now need to replenish our supply of sedatives for the shelter’s veterinary clinic.
