Mukhammadaziz is only two years old. He was born at 28 weeks—as a twin, but he is the only one who survived. The boy has damage to both eyes: he has undergone surgery for total retinal detachment, has aphakia, vitreous issues, and stage 5 retinopathy of prematurity—he is currently in the scarring stage. He has already had two surgeries at the Tashkentskiy Natsionalnyy detskiy meditsinskiy tsentr, but there were not enough funds for the next one.
His mother is a homemaker, his father is currently temporarily unemployed, and there are three older brothers at home. They play together, go for walks, and talk—and Mukhammadaziz smiles back so sincerely, even though he cannot see their faces.
Your support is a chance to give Mukhammadaziz the opportunity to one day look at his brothers and say: "I see you." Let his smile become even brighter—from the happiness of discovering the world with his own eyes.
