Gadzhimagomed is 8 years old. At the age of 2, he experienced a serious developmental regression that changed his world. The boy forgot everything he knew, stopped responding to speech addressed to him, and lost connection with those around him. His only comfort became endlessly walking in circles and shouting 'iiii' as he tried to cope with anxiety. Playing with other children faded into the background.
But hope has not faded! Thanks to ongoing rehabilitation and support, Gadzhimagomed is making small but meaningful steps forward. Self-aggression is a thing of the past, his understanding of spoken language has improved, and the boy has started to say his first words. He is rediscovering the joy of play and developing everyday skills that are so important for his future.
The funds raised will go towards paying for sessions with highly qualified specialists in applied behavior analysis, adaptive physical education, sensory integration, as well as with a speech therapist and a special education teacher.
