Two year ago Nikita came back from the army to his hometown Elektrogorsk and applied for a job at a police station. He liked to serve in the military and he wanted to live in his hometown, next to the most important person in his life — his grandma.
The only thing left to pass was the medical exam. Surprisingly, instead of human resources, after the exam Nikita was sent to hospital in Moscow, where he found out that he has acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
At first he was afraid and felt sorry for himself. But there was no way back, so he decided to fight through the disease.
During the next year and a half he passed several rounds of chemo and finally the bone marrow transplant. But his fight is still not over. There’s one more little, but very important step.
He needs an anti-relapse treatment with a special medicine called Sorafenib. It’s not registered in Russia for this kind of therapy, so it’s impossible to get it for free.
The course Nikita needs costs 372 000 rubles. The Leukemia Foundation has already raised the most of it. All we need now is 90 thousands rubles.
Because of the disease Nikita still can’t start to serve again, and to his grandma this amount of money seems just a fortune. Your donations are their only hope.
