A stretcher board is necessary for the safe transportation of children with serious illnesses who cannot move independently or require special conditions during travel.
Many of the beneficiaries of the 'You Are Needed' foundation are children with severe illnesses, post-surgery, or with limited mobility. Regular strollers or car seats do not provide them with adequate fixation and support. A stretcher board allows for securely fastening the child, maintaining the correct position of the spine and head, and reducing the risk of complications and injuries during transit.
Currently, the foundation needs to pay a deposit for several trips so that children can quickly and safely reach medical facilities when needed.
