"IT-Start": knowledge that opens up new opportunities

For many children from families facing difficult financial situations, modern technology remains an inaccessible resource. The IT-Start project was created to give children under the foundation’s care the opportunity to acquire essential digital skills and take their first steps into the world of IT.

Within the project, the kids will master the basics of computer literacy: they will learn to work with documents, spreadsheets, presentations, online services, and discover how to protect their data on the internet. They will also be introduced to programming in Python, try creating their own projects, chatbots, and simple applications.

But our goal is not only to teach children how to use a computer. We want to help them develop logical and critical thinking, independence, teamwork skills, and confidence in their own abilities. The knowledge they gain will give them an additional opportunity to successfully pass selection processes for educational centers and, in the future, to choose in-demand professions.
