Danila is a "special child," as children with disabilities are now commonly called.
His mother wrote:
"No 'special features' prevent me from loving my child and doing everything possible for his development and recovery."
Danila was born prematurely, weighing only 1200 grams. Initially doctors believed that this was related to his retarded development. Diagnosis of cerebral palsy was made only at the age of 1.
The doctor pronounced a verdict for the child: "Your child will not sit, much less walk, and serve himself.
But mom didn't give up, and thanks to her tireless efforts, Danila learned to stand and walk along the support, he even rides an orthopedic bicycle.
In June 2021 Danila had two serious surgeries on both legs: he corrected left hip dislocation and right hip subluxation, and had reconstruction of both feet. Danila spent 2,5 months in a cast after the surgery - it was a serious problem.
Now he has to learn all the skills all over again, because his muscles have weakened, and he still has to get used to the new position of the joints.
Danila needs ankle apparatus for proper walking training to achieve results and to make sure that all the pain he went through was not in vain!
