At the age of 1.5, Khabib experienced febrile seizures. After that, his parents noticed that the boy stopped responding to spoken language, no longer reacted to his name, and lost his words. After undergoing numerous examinations, specialists diagnosed him with a severe psychological developmental disorder with systemic speech underdevelopment, as well as pronounced emotional and behavioral disorders.
Khabib is now 8 years old. Thanks to intensive courses of therapy, the boy has shown positive progress in his development, and has gained partial understanding of spoken language. However, he still does not speak or play with other children, and ignores attempts to involve him in joint activities.
In order not to lose the skills he has acquired and to learn new ones, Khabib needs to continue working with specialized professionals.
