Dasha recently turned four years old. The girl lives in a children's home in Khabarovsk Krai, from where the Ty emu nuzhen foundation brought her for a comprehensive medical examination. Dasha celebrated her birthday together with the foundation's nanny and other children—there were balloons, cake, and a real celebration.
Dasha has multiple developmental disorders, including serious orthopedic problems. Right now, doctors do not recommend surgery. To help keep her body in the correct position and prevent further complications, she has been prescribed special medical devices—a corrective corset and orthotic splints.
The foundation continues to monitor Dasha's health, and she has a new course of rehabilitation ahead. The girl is active, cheerful, talks, loves playing with other children, and has become very attached to her nanny. The foundation hopes that one day a family will be found for Dasha.
Support the fundraiser for a corset and orthotic splints for Dasha! They will help slow the progression of orthopedic disorders, maintain proper body alignment, and give the girl more opportunities for further rehabilitation and development.
