Grisha is 12 years old. He loved running, riding his bicycle and scooter, and playing pranks with the boys. But in November 2025, he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke—his left side became completely paralyzed. Grisha was hospitalized in intensive care, then transferred to neurosurgery.
He had to learn to sit, stand, and walk all over again. He almost returned to normal life: he walked with a slight limp, his hand began to recover, and his facial expressions improved. He was studying at home, learning to write with his right hand—since he is left-handed.
Then, another blow. In June 2026, an MRI revealed a brain tumor. In August, Grisha underwent a complex surgery at the Burdenko Neurosurgery Center in Moskva.
After the surgery, there was a setback. The left-sided hemiparesis worsened—his left arm and leg muscles weakened again. He will have to learn to write, hold a spoon, and walk all over again.
Grisha really wants to return to his former life: to ride his bicycle, run with the other kids, and be like all the boys his age. For this, he needs active rehabilitation, first and foremost—individual physical therapy sessions.
His mother is raising him alone.
The funds will go towards a course of individual physical therapy so that Grisha can learn to control his body again and regain lost skills.
Let’s help Grisha return to a normal life, to health, and to the joy of movement.
