To receive medical nutrition, seriously ill children need a specialist consultation!

Artem, from Chuvashia, has cerebral palsy. Despite this serious diagnosis, he is growing up to be a shy, friendly, and very positive boy.

The family’s life is largely confined to their fifth-floor apartment, which has no elevator. Carrying the heavy child down the stairs is an almost impossible task for his family, so Artem rarely gets to go outside. His main sources of joy right now are his tablet and his favorite games and videos.

In addition to his primary diagnosis, Artem has developed protein-energy malnutrition. In such cases, doctors prescribe special medical nutrition. However, simply buying the formula isn't enough; for the nutrition to be effective, a specialist consultation is required to calculate daily caloric needs and assess the child's condition.

Such consultations are only available on a paid basis. For a large family with a seriously ill child, this is an unaffordable expense; they need our help.
