Zinaida has leukemia, she needs medication

Zinaida was born in a village in Tatarstan and grew up in a large family where everything relied on hard work and care. She chose medicine as her profession: she graduated from college and worked as a nurse. She got married and gave birth to two daughters; the youngest has just turned three months old.
After her second childbirth, a routine blood test revealed acute leukemia. But the doctor assured her that the disease is treatable and that time, patience, and a positive attitude are needed.
Zinaida is now in the hematology department of the Republican Clinical Hospital in Kazan, undergoing her first course of chemotherapy. Her main support is her husband, who tells her every day: "You will get well; the children need their mother." The medications Zinaida needs are not available through the state health insurance, and her family cannot afford to buy them on their own.
Let us help Zinaida get the medicines she needs to continue her therapy and return to her family as soon as possible.
