Khalid is 7 years old. At the age of two, he was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and level I general speech underdevelopment. The boy also exhibits epileptiform brain activity. There was a time when Khalid did not understand speech at all, would not make contact, and did not respond to his name. He was very hyperactive and was not afraid of anything.
After five years of continuous rehabilitation (ABA therapy, neurocorrection, sessions with a speech therapist), the first successes have appeared: He has begun to partially understand spoken language; he responds to his name; and he has established eye contact.
To consolidate these results and acquire new skills, Khalid needs the next course of rehabilitation. His family cannot afford the treatment on their own.
Let’s help the boy take another step towards the world!
