Omar is 14 years old. He was born prematurely, as one of triplets. Due to hypoxia, immediately after discharge the baby was sent for treatment to a multidisciplinary hospital. By the age of two, his parents began to notice that Omar was very different from his peers: his development was significantly delayed. At two and a half years old, doctors diagnosed him with delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
From that moment, a long rehabilitation journey began:
- medication;
- sessions with a psychologist;
- ABA therapy;
- courses with a manual therapist.
Currently, Omar is under the care of a psychiatrist. For further development, Omar needs a new course of rehabilitation.
However, the family cannot afford it on their own, as all their strength and resources are devoted to caring for their second child with special needs.
Let’s help Omar take a step toward a new future together!
