Since 2018, we have been providing comprehensive support to elderly people living alone who find themselves in difficult life situations.
The foundation’s nurse helps maintain the health of those in our care: she measures blood pressure, monitors medication intake, follows doctors’ orders, treats and cares for bedsores, and more.
Our orderlies handle the everyday aspects of care: they assist with hygiene procedures, change diapers, pads, and bed linens, help with cleaning, and address other daily needs that elderly people with limited mobility can no longer manage on their own.
For many lonely grandmothers and grandfathers, a visit from our staff is their only opportunity for conversation during the day and their only chance to receive medical care at home.
We are currently raising funds for medications, consumable supplies for our home care service (syringes, bandages, and more), as well as to pay the salaries of our nurse and two orderlies.
