In March, the girl received a cochlear implant. The device transmits sounds, but turning them into understandable speech requires a long period of training with specialists. We can help.
Karina, the mother, waited eight years for her daughter. The little girl had health problems from birth, but thanks to her mother's love and perseverance, they overcame almost everything. Karina calls her Vita — 'life.' The girl had already started to babble like all children, but one day her hearing disappeared completely, and with it, her first sounds vanished too.
The operation restored the physical ability to hear, but the implant itself does not teach one to speak. The brain needs to get used to the world of sounds all over again: where an ordinary child needs to repeat a word 20 times, Vika needs 600. Her mother works with her at home every day, but that's not enough — intensive work with specialists is needed.
Special education teachers are ready to teach Vika to speak and communicate not only with gestures, but also with her voice. Tubers, let's support this strong family. Let your kindness turn into Vika's first spoken words!
Всё получится 🪄
