Igor is 11 years old. He has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Because of these serious conditions, he has difficulty speaking and is still learning to walk. But the boy has a great desire to develop, and the doctors are confident that everything can be improved with regular rehabilitation.

Igor has already made significant progress! Thanks to rehabilitation courses, he can sit independently and stand for several seconds. He really enjoys physical therapy, speech therapy, and lessons with a home teacher—these bring results, because Igor tries hard! He also likes playing with other children, building with construction sets, listening to music, and playing with musical toys.

However, the boy experiences seizures, which prohibit many procedures for speech and motor development. The dosage of his medications has to be constantly adjusted as he grows. Now, Igor needs to undergo overnight video EEG monitoring and get a consultation with his epileptologist, a candidate of medical sciences who has been observing him.

It is important to undergo these tests every six months to make decisions about adjusting his treatment. This is necessary to maintain a stable condition—a prerequisite for continuing and making rehabilitation sessions effective.
