Fundraising for sessions with a special education teacher for foster children

Children who have experienced orphanhood or adversity in their biological families often miss the critical period when speech, attention, memory, and thinking are formed. If there was no adult nearby to talk, explain, and support them, these skills do not develop on their own. The child is not being lazy—it is genuinely difficult for them.
When a girl joined a foster family at the age of five, her parents immediately realized how hard it was for her. In her biological family, she had received little attention, rarely spoken to, and was not taught to understand spoken language or to concentrate. The foster parents did everything they could to prepare her for school: for two years, they worked with their daughter every day. Now she is seven and in first grade. And although they care for her a lot, it is clear how far behind she is: she struggles to understand assignments, remember things, express her thoughts, and cope with the workload.
We see stories like this almost every day. Love and care help, but for many, it is not enough. The 'Find a Family' foundation is raising funds for speech therapy sessions for foster children. A specialist helps develop speech, memory, attention, thinking, and skills needed for learning and communication.
Help children get support now, while so much can still be changed.
