On December 5, 2025, Magomed fell from the fifth floor and sustained a severe combined injury, including spinal cord damage at the C4–C7 level and a fracture of the fifth cervical vertebra.
After several surgeries and a long period of treatment, he became bedridden and required assistance with almost everything.
However, the initial rehabilitation showed how important regular sessions are for Magomed. After a course at the Tarnair Center, he was able to sit independently without support for up to 10 minutes, transfer with minimal assistance, eat independently using adaptive devices, dress and undress himself, and take care of his personal hygiene. He also experienced reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms.
Now Magomed needs to continue rehabilitation to consolidate the progress he has made and work on new skills.
