Ilzida needs special cartridges to monitor vital signs

Ilzida was born healthy, but her condition deteriorated sharply when she was just seven days old. She was rushed to the intensive care unit, where doctors diagnosed multi-organ failure.

Ilzida survived the critical crisis, but her condition remained serious and stable. She was unable to digest food; she was diagnosed with microvillus inclusion disease, a disorder that impairs intestinal absorption. As a result, Ilzida’s life depends entirely on intravenous nutrition.

Ilzida is now six years old. Despite her challenging circumstances, she remains a cheerful child who loves socializing, dancing, singing, and playing with other children. She is also very fond of animals.

Her condition requires constant monitoring. To track electrolyte levels and administer necessary nutrients on time, her parents check her blood daily using a rapid analyzer. The device requires special cartridges; without them, it is impossible to obtain readings and correct deficiencies in a timely manner.
