David is an incredibly cheerful, sweet and positive little boy. He easily makes contact with everyone around him. His mother speaks very movingly about David: "Despite the hardships my son has had to endure, he always gives a smile and a laugh. He is very gentle and loves to have you lying next to him, stroking him and reading him stories. Davidik is very patient and brave. He teaches our whole family even more love and to be thankful for everything you have."
David has spina bifida. It is a severe malformation of the spinal cord, develops in utero, and the causes are known. The baby had his first surgery to suture the hernia on the 10th day of his life. Everything below the waist, the boy does not feel. The baby could sit with support, turns over independently, holds his head and twists it actively in all directions - he wants so much to learn this world around. He recognizes his mom and dad and laughs out loud.
David will never stand on his feet independently - there is no support in them, and in order to live and develop properly further, he needs to take an upright position every day. In addition to the overall benefit of verticalization (the load on the spine, on the hip joints is distributed correctly, all internal organs - heart, lungs, digestive system, blood circulation - everything starts to function properly) it will help David to improve liquodynamics - the outflow of fluid from the head. This means of home rehabilitation is ready to be individually made for the baby.
