Rinat never saw the world from his own height. He has never stood on his own feet - there is simply no support in them. All this is due to the disease spina bifida, which Rinat had congenital. He was operated right away, in the first hours of his life. The hernia was on his back - it was stitched up. But all that is below the hernia, the boy does not feel.
In spite of all the difficulties Rinat is the smilingest guy in the world. He loves to have fun and make everyone around him laugh. He loves all holidays and adores when guests come. But when he has to go to the hospital he is sad. And Rinat has to be in hospitals often. Staying in hospitals can be reduced by constant rehabilitation at home - every day, for several hours, Rinat has to take an upright position. This can be done with the help of a standing positioner. Using a vertical leveller will prevent osteoporosis for the boy, and prevent disorders of the work of internal organs and systems. Whatever way you look at it, but a human being is an upright walking creature, the upright position and the action of gravity are the cornerstone of the construction of all the vital functions of the body.
Rinat's mother turned to our foundation for help in purchasing an expensive rehabilitation device. It is impossible to get it from the state, it is not in the federal list of technical rehabilitation means and that is why it is not included in the individual program of rehabilitation.
