Rescuing dogs from Kaluga: let's support the shelters that have taken in the affected animals

We are launching the second phase of fundraising as part of a large-scale rescue operation in Kaluga, where volunteers and animal welfare organizations are urgently evacuating hundreds of emaciated dogs from the so-called Ostrov nadezhdy shelter.
Thanks to your support during the first phase, we were able to cover the most immediate and critical needs. We are receiving more and more requests from shelters that are taking in the evacuated dogs.
Many of these shelters are now operating at the limits of their capacity. There is a catastrophic shortage of safe accommodation, and the animals arrive severely stressed, injured, malnourished, and lacking even basic veterinary care. To prevent outbreaks of infection and safely house every animal in their care, shelters urgently need resources to set up individual quarantine zones and provide rehabilitative therapy.
As part of this fundraising effort, we are purchasing a batch of equipment for the safe accommodation of animals, as well as a necessary supply of veterinary medicines: products for comprehensive treatment against external and internal parasites, gentle sedatives and anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce stress and manage pain, remedies to normalize digestion, and products for treating skin injuries.
The aid will be delivered to shelters that have taken in the dogs from Kaluga and are now working around the clock to help them recover.
Please support the second phase of fundraising. Any contribution you make helps support the shelters and gives the rescued dogs a chance at a healthy and peaceful life!
