Every month, the 'You Are Needed' foundation provides round-the-clock nannies for at least 40 orphaned children undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. About ten of them require long-term support—one month or more.
However, ensuring that every child has a nanny by their side on time requires significant daily work.
The curator’s assistant selects nannies according to each child’s needs, arranges replacements when necessary, handles paperwork, liaises with hospitals and children’s institutions, and ensures the children have food, hygiene products, and everything they need.
This work demands constant readiness, including at night and on weekends. After all, a child may be admitted to the hospital urgently, at any time of day or night. It is crucial to find a nanny for them as quickly as possible so they are not left alone.
Currently, the foundation is raising funds to pay for one month of the curator assistant’s work.
