Askhab is 5 years old. He has been diagnosed with autism and delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD). The family learned about the diagnosis when the boy was 3 years old.
For the second year now, Askhab has been working hard: he is undergoing ABA therapy, working with a speech therapist, attending neurodynamic gymnastics, and participating in other corrective activities. It is difficult to remember what he was like before: the boy had no skills at all, showed severe aggression, had no speech or eye contact, and did not understand spoken language addressed to him at all.
But as soon as regular sessions began, there was a breakthrough within 3–4 months: the aggression disappeared, he began to understand speech (even if only a little so far), and established eye contact. Now Askhab needs to consolidate these skills and learn new ones. For this, he needs a rehabilitation course, which is expensive. For the family, this amount is unaffordable.
Let’s help Askhab take a step towards the world together!
