Vika and other little ones with respiratory issues at the children’s home are in need of specialized medical devices!

Vika lives in a children's home in Ekaterinburg. Unfortunately, her mother was unable to raise the girl, fearing she would not be able to cope with her health condition.

Vika has severe impairments and finds it difficult to breathe on her own. To ensure her breathing is stable and safe, she needs a tracheostomy—a special tube through which air goes directly into her lungs.

There are other little ones in the children's home with similar needs who require constant care. Special suction catheters are used to help children with tracheostomies breathe more easily. These are necessary for regular sanitation—removing mucus from the tube with a special device. In addition, the catheters help clean the mouths of children who have difficulty swallowing due to illness or age. For them, this is vital daily support.
