Ayla has developmental speech delay. The girl needs rehabilitation for further development

Ayla is 5 years old. She has been diagnosed with delayed psycho-speech development (DPSD) against a background of high epileptiform activity. The girl is under the care of an epileptologist, neurologist, and psychiatrist. Unfortunately, her developmental regression began early—at one and a half years old, after she had pneumonia. Her mental development seemed to come to a standstill.

Now, Ayla has only just started to say individual words, sleeps poorly at night, is sometimes irritable, and avoids contact. Without constant correction and therapy, it is almost impossible to teach and raise her.

Doctors have forbidden the use of strong medications to avoid triggering an epileptic seizure. Therefore, Ayla needs regular rehabilitation sessions, but for her family, their cost is an unbearable burden.
