Artyom is 17 years old. His illness came as a complete surprise to his family because he had always led an active lifestyle. For several years, Artyom has been involved in bodybuilding and powerlifting, and he is also passionate about parachuting. In September of this year, he suffered from an intestinal infection and, after treatment, seemed to have recovered. However, during a holiday trip, he began experiencing abdominal bloating and vomiting. After returning home, his family took him to a clinic. An ultrasound revealed fluid accumulation in the abdominal cavity. For further examination, Artyom was hospitalized at Svyatoy Vladimir Hospital, where he was diagnosed with Berkitt lymphoma. Unfortunately, after being transferred to the regional oncology center, the diagnosis was confirmed.
For his course of treatment, Artyom needs 12 packs of an anti-tumor medication, which is not available at the hospital due to its high cost, and its purchase is not covered by the state guarantee program.
