Kamilla was born at 24 weeks of pregnancy—at 5.5 months. Her birth weight was only 780 grams. Difficult labor led to a brain hemorrhage and hydrocephalus. After being discharged, endless visits to hospitals began. Kamilla lagged behind her peers in development and for a long time could not take her first steps. After a consultation with a neurologist at a neuropsychiatric clinic, the girl was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP).
Thanks to the persistent efforts of her parents and specialists, Kamilla eventually began to walk, but due to spasticity, she limps and drags her legs. To date, Kamilla has been diagnosed with CP (spastic diplegia) and epilepsy. Now the girl needs a rehabilitation course, which her family cannot afford due to financial difficulties.
Let’s support Kamilla and give her a chance at a full, healthy life!
