Every surgical procedure begins with disinfecting the instruments, long before the doctors pick up a scalpel. If an instrument has not been properly sterilized, even a flawlessly performed operation can result in infection, suppuration, and serious complications. For weakened animals, who already arrive with compromised health, this is especially dangerous. That’s why instrument sterilization is one of the main conditions for every patient’s safety.
A couple of months ago, the foundation moved into its own building and is now finishing the setup of its facilities. In the new veterinary center, a dedicated area is being equipped for disinfecting surgical instruments, but it currently lacks furniture. A work table, cabinets, and units are needed to accommodate the sterilization equipment, while the instruments, consumables, and medications will be stored safely and always within reach.
Support the fundraiser for furniture for the sterilization area—furniture that will serve for years and give hundreds of furry friends a chance at a happy and healthy future.
