Gordey is a palliative care boy. He is bedridden, almost unable to move, does not speak, and cannot ask for help himself. Right now, he is in the hospital, with no family members nearby.
He needs constant presence: monitoring his breathing, cleaning his tubes, turning him every two hours to prevent bedsores, and feeding him through a tube.
Our nannies are ready to be by his bedside around the clock, taking shifts. They know how to care for children like him: cleaning the tracheostomy, caring for the feeding tube, turning him on time, and monitoring his blood pressure and temperature. But their work needs to be paid for.
