Gulnara has been living with her mother and grandmother in a remote village in Shemurshinsky District of Chuvashia for 20 years. Seeing Gulnara, it's hard to believe that she is 20, she looks 9-10 years old. She was born with cerebral palsy and 3rd degree double hemiplegia.
The whole family lives in one room, and entering it you can tell at once that a girl lives here, because the whole room is covered with stuffed toys that Gulnara likes to play with.
Together with her grandmother they listen to Tatar songs and even try to sing along together, at these moments it seems that Gulnara is really happy. And although the girl does not speak, you can always tell by her contented smile whether she is happy or not.
Village leisure is not diverse, and in the evenings the family spends watching their favorite shows, or watching Gulnara's favorite cartoon "Well, wait a minute". Mom would love to walk her daughter, but the opportunity is complicated by the fact that there is no suitable stroller. The one that is issued by the government is not suitable for the girl, she just fall out of it, and unfortunately they don't give out a new one for free.
We decided to collect money for a special baby carriage for Gulnara, where she would sit, have support for her back, support for her head and just the ability to sit and walk without pain, because Gulnara loves to walk, but it is difficult for her to leave the house because she does not have a baby carriage. Gulnara is heavy and she can only stay outside for a few minutes, and in winter it is even impossible to go out.
Let's together help the girl and her family get an opportunity to just be outside and breathe fresh air.
