Albina is experiencing difficulties in mastering the school curriculum; she has reduced memory, increased fatigue, and often suffers from headaches. The girl can be nervous and irritable.
At the age of five, Albina was hit by a motorcycle and sustained a traumatic brain injury. According to the results of a medical examination, she was diagnosed with mild intellectual disability with emotional and behavioral disorders, complicated by TBI. The girl also has enuresis and grade II obesity.
To clarify the diagnosis, assess Albina's condition, and determine further treatment strategy, doctors have recommended a comprehensive examination at the Institut mozga cheloveka imeni N. P. Bekhterevoy in Sankt-Peterburg. This includes an MRI of the brain, EEG with overnight video monitoring, as well as consultations and examinations by specialized doctors.
Albina's mother is seeking help to pay for the examination and train tickets to and from the place where it will be conducted.
