Rita is 8 years old. She was born with severe health issues, and after her mother was deprived of parental rights, she ended up in an orphanage. Rita's main problems are related to genetics and digestion.
"Rita is a very kind and sociable girl, she has an incredible amount of love and a desire to share this love with those around her," says a caregiver from the orphanage. "And she's also a real hairdresser—she loves doing hairstyles, mostly, of course, for dolls. But she's never against practicing on people."
In September, Rita traveled to Moskva to undergo examinations to clarify her diagnoses and adjust her treatment. After returning to the orphanage, the caregivers noted that her condition had significantly improved: she became calmer, her behavior improved, her stereotypies (repetitive chaotic movements) decreased, and she began to gain weight.
At the hospital, Rita was started on a therapeutic formula, and she needs to continue taking it to feel well. The orphanage asked us to help pay for the purchase of therapeutic nutrition and medicines for Rita and other children from her institution. The medicines are needed to support immunity—which is especially important for children with severe health issues.
Please help us pay for food and medicines for the children at the Solnechnyy orphanage, so that Rita and the other kids can feel better and get sick less often.
