Children with severe illnesses live in orphanages across various regions of Russia. Many of them require consultations with specialized doctors, special therapeutic nutrition, and medical equipment that can sometimes be vital for their survival.
The 'You Are Needed' Foundation organizes visits by doctors directly to orphan institutions. Specialists examine the children, assess their condition, and provide recommendations for treatment and care.
However, it is important not only to conduct examinations but also to ensure that the doctors' recommendations are implemented. The children may need ventilators, enteral feeding pumps, consumables, and other medical devices.
This work is coordinated by the foundation's curator. The curator interacts with institutions, organizes specialist visits, identifies the children's needs, finds suppliers, prepares documents, and helps arrange the purchase of necessary equipment and nutrition.
The fundraiser is open to cover one month of the curator's salary.
